It's not love that hurts people; it's the lack of love.

Good point...

It'll happen at some point, I'm sure. It's also good to know you're such a good friend, with you being there to support them emotionally in their time of distress.

D'awww thanks! :nice: I try my best, but the best cure for them it's time :\

And the thing is, do you people believe in teenage love? It's like, I see teenagers telling everyday that they love each others, and then a week after they start dating, they broke up :| Do you think that it should be that easy? To tell someone the L word? I'm asking because I never did this...and I don't think I could say that I love someone, that easily (Damn! This is starting to sound like I'm talking to a loveline )

In another subject...

:dazzled: <---- Why is this guy pooping hearts?? :|

because he's in love :dazzled:

As for teenage love, I dont know if this helps but when I was dating my ex I waited...like 4 months :P Her friend was messing with me and we was like: Oh you love me. And I'm like: err no I love her, and her face lit up so yah lmao

Of course he is!! Look at his face of happiness and relief? :|

Ok, but you waited 4 months :\ my friends wait 4 days or 4 hours! :P

We all approach love differently :P I wouldn't told her earlier, but I'm too scared. I remember that It was actually 3 months in, and she wanted to say she loved me before i did.

But when it happens, it happens and it happens for a reason

Oh yeah, absolutely. Time is the key to so much, really.

Teenage love...that would depend on the maturity of the two parties involved. That scenario you brought up, that's not love. That's lust. Love is much more than casual dating for a week. I think there are a lot of teenagers who get the two confused and think they're in love when they're not. Granted, that's understandable, as sometimes it's hard to distinguish between the two. I've fallen for that trap myself.

Thanks for the help to understand this! :D

That's what I meant! I have a friend (who is a bit bananas) that once told me if she ever broke up with her boyfriend (relationship with like...a month, maybe less) she would kill herself :| I was really freaked out!!! I was like "Come on, don't exaggerate!" and she was like "I'm serious!" But then they broke up like a a week later, and she cried a lot, but never tried to do anything stupid! At the time I was incredibly scared :uhoh: Love and Lust leads people to say and do very stupid things...

Your friend needs to re-evaluate herself and grow up a bit before she gets involved with anyone in the future. No offense to you or her, but that is a really extreme thing to say, particularly for someone you haven't been with for a solid amount of time. :|

^ She already has a new boyfriend and things aren't any better :| And I hate the guy (actually all my friends do), I think he'll just end up hurting her, but there's nothing I can do because she's "in love" with him :\

ooo...now thats bad... you're a good friend and what violet said is true.

Yeah, but we are not that close anymore because she's pushing everyone away with her boyfriend :\ So I just keep hoping that everything will be fine!

Ines, your friend has problems. I'm sure you know that already, but I feel the need to say it.

Love is stupid....
