It isn't. Simple songs with an acoustic guitar, capo and a voice. Simple song structures, 1 verse, 1 chorus, repeat twice, etc. Lyrics have to be good but you can mess them up to your leisure. Oh and you don't give a damn if the songs sound similar. Oh you also need passion.
