Here's the guitar part Molly.

I just came to realize, every artist is influenced by people whether they recognize it or not. I think my guitar parts sound like a mix between Coldplay and Snow Patrol, the strumming is like Oasis, the lyrics, I don't even know. But you get my point.

If anyone has some time on their hands, I need a secondhand opinion.

So I'm working on my "Second album" in all honesty, all my songs sound the same. They do but they don't if that makes sense. I feel like I'm rehashing the same things over and over when I'm not. Would you say F it and do what you want or maybe something else? Oh and Molly, I want to write that Viva inspired album now ;) :D

First of all, that guitar part... I absolutely loved it. Literally amazing, you have such talent, and I will tell you now if you don't do something with your music I will hunt you down bro. It was beautiful.

Secondly, it's about time, how long have I been waiting for this album? ;)

EDIT: thirdly, if you like your style of music then stick to it, if not find some new inspiration, listen to some new bands, I always have recommendations, not to sound vein but I do think I have some good musical knowledge so you know, I'm here if you need some new bands. Or go to some new places, I love trains, get on a train and look out the window, I seem to have big inspirational moments on trains.

Keaton, I know that feeling bro. :(

Every now and then I would fall under the impression that my writing would usually be tasteless and/or repetitive. Most of the times I'd set it aside if I get too flustered with it and start something new. Last year I left only two Rezzy Leon stories unfinished; one was scrapped (Thanksgiving story) and I recycled the first few paragraphs from another story for the sixth volume (St. Rezzy's Night In).

To answer your question, I would do what I'd want. I've been doing that for almost a year since Rezzy Leon came about anyway. If I were to write something I didn't want to write, then I'd be popping out bad eggs right now; I am my harshest critic.

I hope this made sense and is resourceful to you Keaton!

That makes sense. Thank you Anthony! :)

Oh my haha. That's a good idea. I wanna reinvent my music per say. And going on the train is a good idea. The album is also inspired by Achtung Baby. Thank you Molly. :)

I wanna record a cover of U2's who's gonna ride your wild horses. It's a beautiful sing thats even better acoustically.

I had a wonderful breakfast this morning, a freshly cooked Sausage & mushroom bap from the railway station cafe at Romsey.

It's a proper 'old-school' cafe, run by a single person where the food is lovely and very reasonable priced (£2 for a bap, £1 for a bottle of pepsi).

That sounds delicious. :surprised: You're making me hungry now!

That sounds soooo good!!

Just came up with a song name. Don't know what to make of it or what it even means

The Intensity Of Bliss

edit: Writing lyrics now while listen to Where The Streets Have No Name. And I must say, the lyrics aren't that bad.

Wow..

What's a bap?

EDIT: found it, that looks good.

Whenever I listen to Snow Patrol. All I can think of is Spiderman. I can picture how a lot of their songs could fit into the movies. I love SP so much. They're my 2nd favorite band. They don't care what other people think about their music. They're always so genuine.

That makes sense. Thank you Anthony! :)

Molly, I know how you feel. I was super nervous more than anything else for college, and it's only been a couple days, and yet I love it! You'll love it too, I'm sure :)

Please do a cover of With or Without You? I will cry :wacky:

 I will. I'll have to be careful with that song. I'll try and do it soon Molly. ;) It holds a special place in my heart :wacky:

I wish there was a town called Harveytown where all us Coldplayers could live and then I'd get to talk to all you guys

Oh Molly, I've also been meaning to cover the song If There's A Rocket Tie To Me. I love that song :dazzled:

Well.. I know it means nothing but now it has my adrenaline going and I need to let out some frustration and anger and guilt and shame and fear. Time to write music and then go for another mountain bike ride.. Clear my head and remember..the sky will always be blue.

Airborne

I'm lying here on my own

You've abdicated the throne

How would I have known

The sky's always blue

And I'm jumpin' out of the plane

Falling through the clouds and rain

Heart beating (Pulses starting)

Faster...faster...faster now

Today I know I'll start new again

There's no feeling

Like running free

Without worry or fear on my knees

It's time for me..to be free

It's so simple to learn the truth

It clouds our minds

Like a light helping us find

The one we love and cherish so dear

Now I know and see

Fear's retreating

Over thee...thee...thee

There's no feeling

Like running free

Without worry or fear on my knees

It's time for me..to be free

There's no rush

Like escaping into the night

Without worry or fear on my knees

And I know it'll be alright

And I know...and I know...it'll be alright

And I know...and I know...it'll be alright

And I know...and I know...it'll be alright...

OMG :wacky:, make sure you put it on youtube, I love that song. The music video reminds me of Violet Hill.

I really like this. A lot. I could actually hear instruments in my mind whilst reading it so it'd be interesting to hear your, the writers, version of how it sounds. I really like the first verse.

Thanks. I don't have a guitar part so far. But this new set of songs sound quiet and very "acoustically". All about love and loss. Dark deep stuff haha

You'd like some of the Viva inspired songs I wrote last year. ;)

Stalkers Of Pripyat

Stranger Danger

Echoes Of The Underground

A Smile On Your Face

Give Me Liberty Or Give Me Death

Sonoma

Lights On The Horizon

La Chanson De l'avenir

Fallen Kingdom

Technicolor

To name a few :)

Except..Molly..if you're my manager. I never promoted my 1st album. I went back to writing again. Maybe I should put the 2nd one on hold for a few years

Maybe if someone wants to know what I was mad about earlier, I'll tell them. It was silly to get mad over. So It'll be worth letting out and laughing at. :)

Hello to anyone who's around :)

Sorry I haven't been here much, school and all....
