November 26, 200322 yr I like Creed, a lot. I'm not ashamed to admit it. Other then Scott Stapp sounding like Eddie Vedder of Pearl Jam, I don't see one thing wrong with Creed, perfectly damn well good hard rock tunes. And besides, just because he sound's like him, it doesn't exactly mean he copied his voice, who know's? Maybe that's the way he actually sounds.

November 27, 200322 yr you say that as if Christianity is a bad thing... anyway, Creed states that they all have different beliefs and are not affiliated with any organized religion. Its out of respect for Christianity that they turned down the tour. They probably still would have turned it down if it were a Torah, or even a Koran instead of a Bible on Staind's album cover.

My post wasnt directed towards yours. Ā In his bio, Scott Stapp says he grew up Christian, and even thought about becoming a minister when he was nine, but then turned against his belief system when he was seventeen to find his own beliefs. They state (with emphasis) that they are not a Christian band. I agree with Stapp on his beliefs, but I'm not angry towards organized religion, just the fact that Churches seem to twist things around. POD, however, is a Christian band, they themselves have stated that they are.
