Yesterday I thought that Chris should have recorded the name and post it with the announcement. That way it would be very clear how is the pronunciation.

 

I was just thinking the same thing. They should have made a video announcement, so we know how to say it properly.

Think of the world "xylophone" as an above poster said. It's not pronounced xy-low-phone, but xy-luh-phone.

 

I bet each member of the band will pronounce it differently. :lol:

The band will be saying it alot for everyone soon I expect, I find it rather easy to pronounce, what the hell is the meaning is another thing:lol:

Clearly the boys didn't take the pronounciation issue into consideration before naming the album the way they did. -shakes head- However, it's good to know that's been cleared up. :nice:

Honestly ... I think there are things way more important to worry about ;)

 

I can already see/hear MANY radio DJs struggling with the correct pronuciation of the album title and meticulousy fans will start rolling their eyes because they don't get it right.

 

For me, it's the content that counts.

The music.

And I don't care how the songs will be called as long as I like the melodies & harmonies.

I have such a soft spot for good melodies :)

I had a hard time pronouncing the name for a while. At first, I kept wanting to put emphasis on the "le" in Xyloto for some odd reason. I think I've got it down now, though. (:
