What exactly are all of you carrying out regarding labor day? I am ultimately escaping work on and on to unwind with regard to some time by the river while my better half does the actual BBQing for all of us. It ought to be nice tranquil weekend break out from the city and from all the sound.

I'm coming back to school. lol. But I'll have a TV, a Wii, and a PS2, so it'll be okay.

i'm gonna be at a relative's for like 3 days and they don't have wifi or anything cause it's a farm in the middle of nowhere and all they have is dial-up so i have no way of computering and i have to fish and stuff and kids will want to play with me and i don't wanna go D:

^ In the early 1900s workers in the U.S. protested for better working conditions, hours, respect, blah blah blah. Somehow "Labor Day" was born out of that. People get the day off.

 

Or something like that. All I care about is that I get the day off. 3-day weekend. woot

Like a Bank Holiday here, where people don't have to work (except a few important jobs) and there's no school on mondays :cheesy: But we have four here a year.
