kiwiboy527
OMG thank you! POC is such bad quality i seriously dont see whats the big deal..at all That's the point! We want to hear a good quality version, because we've already heard snippets of CB on the Sky1 Drama Advert! It's a toughy, but I'd probably go with PoC... sounds like Violet Hill, Yes and Viva in one! CB will be a massive hit though, don't get me wrongggggg! Ronnie O Sullivan
Funny,Princess of China has less votes than Charlie Brown..but if you just read in this thread you could think the totally different :laugh3:
fwise3
OMG thank you! POC is such bad quality i seriously dont see whats the big deal..at all because from what we can hear, it seems to be one of their most original songs to date, it is highly synth driven and has a SICK beat...and yet it still sounds like coldplay. even in bad quality, it gives me chills every time. Kroket
I absolutely love Charlie Brown. I hope the album version will be as good as the live version. But if I had to choose, I'd take Princess of China, coz we don't have a decent version of it and I can't wait to hear it.
RWLover
I'd go for Charlie Brown. I've managed to resist listening to a crappy version of PoC so far, so if it doesn't make it I can just continue to ignore its existence.
Cleggy
From what I've heard, Princess of China seems like the more interesting song. Charlie Brown is a bit more mainstream and isn't as complex musically. I like them both though.
Abracadabra
^+1 I voted Charlie Brown btw
Blue Nails
I'm on team PoC as well, I agree that it sounds more unique. But I need a studio version of both really.
golfing7861
Definitely Charlie Brown!
postcards
I vote Charlie Brown so far because I think it will make a great live song to move around with. Especially with glow sticks!
Hartroc
Charlie Brown IS more complex musically. Princess of China is in 4/4 time all the way through, and the chord changes are relatively straightforward. Princess of China is more [email protected] though. That synth scream = :dazzled:
Strawberry Swinger
Charlie Brown of course. It is not as original as PoC but it is so beautiful... PoC does sound a bit like HLH though, which I hope more and more won't make the cut as it becomes ... boring!
Wickett
Wow, 170 votes. Awesome outcome. I voted Princess of China, and here's why. We already have several great live performances of Charlie Brown floating around the internet, but nothing good for Princess of China. That's why I'd rather hear a studio version of it than Charlie Brown if I had to choose one. I can go and get a live version of Charlie Brown any time. As far as the songs themselves, I like them both a lot. Don't know if I could put one over the other.
