Yes, we always play the Green Bay Packers on Thanksgiving (or so it seems)... I'm looking forward to this lovely little tradition in a few hours. :D

About the games:

 

Packers @ Lions: well, it's been a great season for the Lions and its fans (the best in decades, I guess), with 7-3, Stafford and everything, but Packers have got A-Rod. Tough game, but the Packers get to 11-0 this afternoon (well, afternoon for me :P).

 

Dolphins @ Cowboys: this game won't be as easy as many people think, but the Boys will end up winning this one.

 

49ers @ Ravens: well, the toughest game of the day. Niners to win!

Detroit Lions defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh suspended for next two games

 

 

 

Detroit Lions defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh has been suspended for two games without pay for unsportsmanlike conduct during the game on Thanksgiving Day.

 

The NFL issued the following statement:

 

NFL Vice President of Football Operations Merton Hanks notified Ndamukong Suh today that he has been suspended without pay for the Lions’ next two games for his unsportsmanlike conduct in the Lions-Packers game on Thanksgiving Day.

 

It was Suh’s fifth violation of on-field rules in the past two seasons that has resulted in league discipline. Suh may not practice or be at the team practice facility for any other activities during the two-game suspension. He will be reinstated on December 12.

 

Under the CBA, the suspension may be appealed within three business days. If appealed, an expedited hearing and decision would take place this week in advance of this weekend’s games.

Sucks that the one day I actually root for Tebow, he let's me down. With the Titans out, I'm basically rooting for a not Steelers/Patriots v. Packers super bowl. Niners, Falcons or Texans (anyone know how bad Schaub was hurt to day?) would be worth rooting for. So...go reds.

Luck is ready to be a starter, that's a fact. But Manning is such a great player that he deserves to be given the chance to win another Super Bowl before retiring.

All I am saying is if the Colts dont plan on taking Luck with the 1st selection then just trade down cause no other pick is worth the 1st overall pick IMO. i see RG3 being a bust too. He's gonna go to a team like the Redskiins and tank.

Agreed. It's either Luck or trade down, anything else would be a waste.

There are rumors Irsay is going to release Manning. I don't care how good Luck might be, Manning doesn't deserve that. He deserves to be the starter until he doesn't want to anymore. The Colts owe that to him.

Best option would be to either trade Manning while his value can still get you a 2nd and 5th or release him. This team is on the verge of another turn around and making the right moves could put them back in the playoffs in a couple years.
