I'm confusing, I don't see Paradise on it.

well i think we should also consider that it was only available 2 days ago, and most of the other songs had a full week of sales tallies :)

All singles come out on a Monday. The song that is currently number 1 in the mid week chart came out on Monday.

The other songs have more airplay on their side though. But to not even be in the top 40 is still bad. At least ETIAW got into the top 10.

That chart must not be updated. If you compare the BBC chart and the iTunes Store UK chart ,they are identical, except for the iTunes chart having Paradise at number 9.

Paradise is on fire it's doing better than ETIAW by far on the US iTunes charts and in UK iTunes charts it's at #9, this is going to be a big hit. :)

Its an error, I look at these charts all the time and the midweek updates and Coldplay should be top 30 at the very least most likely top 20 atm so its an error for sure.

 

Maybe there is a small chance they will be ineligible? Doesn't pre ordering Mylo Xyloto give you Paradise or do you still have to buy that for 79p?

 

I remember when VLV wasn't eligible at first for the charts.

Found these links for the iTunes Charts. Here you can track Paradise and Mylo Xyloto on 22 countries. (However Paradise is not listed on the UK store but it is nr 9 on the chart on the actual iTunes store page..hmm)

Paradise won't chart

 

Paradise is ineligible to chart in the UK at least (maybe everywhere else depending on the rules) for the same reason as Viva La Vida the single which is been able to download once you pre-order the album.

 

Will only chart once Mylo Xyloto is released and then most of the potential sales would have happened then so probably won't chart.

 

That's the reason why it wasn't showing up on the midweek charts so far, just checked on a popular chart forum to make sure it was the case.

 

Not that is matters too much, will be interesting to see whether it hits #1 on the airplay chart like ETIAW did :D

In England it's already number 9 in the iTunes singles chart!

 

And Mylo Xyloto is number 5 in the albums which is amazing!

It's no. 1 over here since Tuesday. In both iTunes and the Mega Top 50 (they update the top 5 of that one every day).

It will chart in the US next week. The Billboard chart will be released next Wednesday.

My guess is a Hot Shot top 20 debut. I'll be pleasantly surprised if it cracks the top 10 in its first week (because of the lack of enough Airplay)
