Paradise on UK chart

Featured Replies

Well, someone changed the name of this thread making my previous post dumb

^ The thread was originally about the UK charts if you look at the original post. It was merged with the original UK chart thread (in which this is titled). There is a separate top 100 thread (which is also 2 threads merged into 1) is a little further down the list if you want to comment on it there. :nice:

See this is what happens when people create too many threads and ignore the mods' sticky thread about duplicate threads... now that the forum is slowing down a little bit we have the chance to merge stuff and people don't like it.

OOh that makes sense. Thank you and also thank you for keeping this forum together.

Maybe there should be some restrictions about creating threads. Per example:

--You cant create threads unless you've spent at least 1 month or 2 here

--You cant create threads unless you have 50 or 100 posts

etc...

CHECK IT nextweek thats when it will chart

Paradise did not chart.

I guess it's not eligible to chart (yet) just like VLV.

So, once it's eligible to chart, will they group ALL the sales since Sept. 12 or will they only consider the last week? Because many fans are only buying Paradise not the whole album.

They won't group all sales.

It really does suck that Paradise isn't eligible, because people who want JUST the single, download JUST the single. The ways we have to buy music has to change.

At least "Paradise" got to #2 in the Netherlands:D:D:D:D. "Mylo Xyloto" is looking to be one hell of an album!, it's been three years since "Viva La Vida", and I'm sure this is worth the wait.

It was a free download on iTunes UK wasn't it hence being not eligible?.

^Actually, in one of the official Dutch charts, it's #1. :D

I have only heard it once on the radio, doesn't seem to be taking off in Aus at all :(

  • 3 weeks later...

i havent even heard it on the radio in the uk

i havent even heard it on the radio in the uk

What radio station do you listen to? I hear it all the time and I listen to Radio 1, Radio 2, Absolute, Kerrang and BRMB.

It was number 5 on the airplay charts last week, may even be number 1 this week!

I just saw it at #1 I think its radio1 or 2

Paradise hit #1 in the Dutch charts when it first came out now it dropped from #2 to #5 (after 3 weeks)
