Christmas Lights has a great vibe.The harmony and the arrengement is fantastic.

 

I wish LP5 was more in this style,more with this harmony's.

 

Maybe then it would be the best Coldplay album.

 

'Moving To Mars' comes close to this kind of harmony.

Christmas Lights is part of the old material they threw on the basket and will be never heard again. Personally I am glad they did it because I love the new stuff the way it is than just that right-y clothed look like on Christmas Lights.

I love their new stuff. I think overall, because the album has so many different sounds from what we have heard so far that it will be their best album so far. It will probably be at number 1 longer than the other albums were!!

If they had gone in the direction of Moving to Mars / Christmas Lights . . . well, that would have been awesome. Not that the other new songs aren't good, but I prefer Coldplay's quiet-piano-building-to-an-epic-ending songs, a la Fix You, Amsterdam, Swallowed In The Sea, etc.
