October 6, 201114 yr This is pretty moving stuff if anyone cares for it: [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UF8uR6Z6KLc]Steve Jobs' 2005 Stanford Commencement Address - YouTube[/ame] Steve Jobs speech at Stanford University in 05.
October 6, 201114 yr How sad. Shocked still even though we knew he was ill. Didn't know he was ill with pancreatic cancer since 2004. What an innovator, what a man and I type this on my ipod touch. Rest in peace Steve Jobs
October 6, 201114 yr Rest in peace, Steve. If you are a fan of the amazing work that Apple do or not (I am) - this is a great loss to not only fans of the brand, but to technology. RIP. I am very very sad to hear about this. Apple may not ever be the same without the guidance or influence of Mr. Jobs and I believe respect, whether or not you are on the 'Apple' side of the fence; is the least that this man deserves. Thoughts go out to his family.
October 6, 201114 yr RIP Steve Jobs, if it weren't for you, I wouldn't have my ipod. You are truly great man, and you will be missed.
October 6, 201114 yr Guess who's planning to picket his funeral? :| That crazy Westboro church? And this is sad news, RIP Jobs.
October 6, 201114 yr In the not too distant future, students will be reading about him in their textbooks. ...on iPads. RIP
October 6, 201114 yr For some reason when I first heard the news The Scientist stated playing in my head. RIP Steve Jobs "Those who are dead are not dead, they're just living in our HANDS" ~His legacy
October 6, 201114 yr Their hardware will be remembered. As much as I hate the itunes store with a flaming passion, Apple never did disappoint me with their products. Then again, I don't think I'll ever be getting anything as silly as an ipad... Rest in peace, mister Jobs.
October 6, 201114 yr This man has inspired me in so many things in life, the first thing I said in response to his death was, "Fuck...that.". I am sad beyond words, tonight. RIP Steve. You inspired many, many people and you should carry no doubt you'll be missed. -- I cannot believe the Westboro Church is freaking picketing at his funeral. This is why people hate Christians. (I don't like it when "Christians" do things like this.) don't forget Pixar. RIP
October 6, 201114 yr I feel like I've been repeating myself for the past four hours, but RIP Steve. You were an inspiration to us all and you will missed deeply.
October 6, 201114 yr He will be a staple in the world history books of our children, and their children, and so on. If you haven't watched his speech to the 2005 graduating class of Stanford University, you really should. My heart truly aches, but my mind is truly inspired to live like him!
October 6, 201114 yr ^I'm half afraid my own Mother will say tomorrow that he was evil, and will be relieved he's gone. And I still call myself a Christian, at least in part. When will we leave the dark ages?? Sorry it's not from the best source, but here's a re-print of #42's blog entry from 2 years ago about Steve Jobs attending a gig. It was even mentioned on CNN tonight. http://gawker.com/5316155/steve-jobs-coldplay-groupie RIP to a true trail-blazer.
October 6, 201114 yr He was a very inspiring person. This is his famous speech at Stanford University. Discurso de Steve jobs en Stanford (subtitulado) - YouTube I'm in the process of making it rhyme and setting it to music. I bet I'm not the only one!
October 6, 201114 yr I was not an Apple fan, but Steve Jobs truly revolutioned technology, and it's a sad sad loss.
