Jonsi's We Bought a Zoo OST doesn't count, right?

^ Its release date is after the deadline, so no, it doesn't.

(Did it leak, Lore? It's not supposed to be out until next week.)

Even if it were released before the deadline, there are songs on there from Sigur Ros/Jonsi albums, so it wouldn't be eligible anyway.

We'll go with this. Not really my top 10 or whatever. I have a bunch of random Canadian albums that would dominate the list....but I don't think it's worth casting a first place vote for Daniel Romano. So here is my top 9.

Hey Rosetta! - Seeds

Drake - Take Care

Radiohead - The King of Limbs

The Middle East - I Want That You Are Always Happy

Dan Mangan - Oh Fortune

Jay Z & Kanye - Watch the Throne

The Weeknd - House of Balloons

The Rural Alberta Advantage - Departing

Other Lives - Tamer Animals

also overall this year has kind of sucked too... it was really tough to make a list.
I felt the same about this year. Many albums I have been waiting for and I had my hopes up but most were meh. None of the albums really stood out. I can only think of a Florence and The Machine and Jonas Bjerre that have pleasantly suprised me. I can make a bigger list of albums that I found dissapointing and didn't make the list at all. Maybe I should mention the worst albums overall or just because I expected them to be better.

I left Apparatjik off after all, Paula :D I think it will be nicer to put it in next year, al though I hope it will end up lower then, due to above reason. I hope there will be better albums in the next year than Apparatjik's :\

I would have added Oh Fortune to my list too, but it was only out here last week (and therefore past the cut off date) Did it have an earlier release in Canada tho? I hope so, then I can vote for it

Oh and well done having Seeds at the top of yer list
