October 19, 201114 yr After 10 or so listens of the album I think i've got a pretty concrete ranking all out of 10 stars: 1. Mylo Xyloto/Hurts Like Heaven- 10 (Wasn't sure what to make of all of the effects at first but I absolutely love it now) 2. Up With the Birds- 10 3. Charlie Brown- 10 4. Us Against the World- 10 5. A Hopeful Transmission/Don't Let it Break Your Heart- 10 6. Paradise- 10 7. U.F.O.- 9 (should have been a minute or so longer but this is a truly simple yet great song) 8. Up In Flames- 9 (Great song but it does annoy me that the chorus is very repetitive) 9. M.M.I.X./Every Tear Drop is a Waterfall- 8.5 10. Major Minus- 8.5 11. Princess of China- 8 (I wish it had another chorus line towards the end but otherwise a great collaborative vocal part on this song)

October 19, 201114 yr 1.HLH- Great Song, one of Coldplays best 2.CB- Another great song again one of their best. 3. MM- Yet another great song but production is messed up, better live and raw. 4. UWTB- Brill 5. DLIBYH-Good but lacking something. 6. UIF- Sounds half finished, needed more work. 7. UFO- Nice song but more b-side material, really worthy of an album? 8. UATW- Good song but doesnt really go anywhere. 9. ETIAW- Catchy but not great. 10. Paradise- Dobt mind it but again not great. 11. POC- Oh dear. All in all a strange album some really great tunes like HLH and CB but some really bad ones like Paradise and POC. It all sounds a bit too polished, sickly sweet, radio friendly and over produced.

October 19, 201114 yr Album review: Album is not that nice then i thought, i think the expectations were to high. The first songs we heard for the album they played it in june in rock am ring, thats 5 songs, they started to early showing the new songs. Why: I likED the songs so much that i played them so much that its broken now:( Also there are to many accoustic songs, i dont like slow/acoustic songs. What involves most : I played the songs broken like HLH, CB, ITIAW, PARADISE, MM. Time between first album song release/Showing m live = to long. Sorry Coldplay:( Song rankings: 1. Princess of China. 2. CB 3. MX/HLH 4. Paradise 5. AHT/DLIBYH 6. MM 7. MMIX/ETIAW 8. UATW 9. UWTB 10. UFO 11. UIF (Up in flames = everytime the same thing.) Hope album gets better in the future.
