I just don't like Mat Kearney

You've been TROLOLOLOL :laugh3::laugh3::laugh3:

I didn't notice it at first but a whole bunch of my friends kept saying so. Years of listening to both Coldplay and Mat made me immune to it I guess. It wasn't until recently that I started hearing it (literally like last month or so). But even then, it's just barely. Only a tiny similarity I think.

I don't know Mat Kearney, but I can try his music. :thinking:

you guys just ruined my life.

I've been proudly telling people how Chris's voice is nothing like others' for years.

Until this son of bitch comes up today and sounds like Chris!!!!

i don't think they sound that much alike, but i would say that mat sounds like an altered version of chris's voice. as in, if you took chris's vocals on a piece and took them down a couple half steps or so, that effect would definitely resemble mat's voice! someone should try that to see if they have the capability to do so. mat's kinda got that nasally thing going like chris, but his is more "stuffed up" or stuck in the throat

No, not at all :thinking:
