^^ Yeah, I really don't like it. I haven't even heard of some of the people on it before. (Shabazz Palaces? WUT?)

wtf is this

What is this? :blank:

  • Author

Wow, I'm making people confused/disgusted. I wasn't quite expecting that.

crazy that Kurt Vile is so high

what kind of magazine/website/whatever is SPIN? I've never come across it

  • Author

It's a music magazine/website. It's just now as well-known as the others. (There's probably a good reason for that, too...)

The fact that Britney Spears made this list makes it null and void. Sorry. Ewww @ Lady Gaga too.

I thought the Weeknd House of Balloons was good but Thursday sucked and he should not be above M83. Insanity!

I may have to check out Dum Dum Girls. Ive liked what I heard from them so far.

Im glad Watch the Throne isnt as high as it is on other lists. Way too overrated

All of these lists just sucks when it comes to rap and R&B.

I don't like this list either. God, this, Rollingstone, Pitchfork; all terrible lists in my opinion. Sure Wasting Light, Helplessness Blues, and El Camino are on this, I can get behind this, but I don't like literally anything else on this list. I know I have my own taste in music, all my favorites are not going to get on every list, but pretty much all my favorites have been left of every list, and are usually ranked pretty low if they do make it on. Never liked any critics choosing my music for me though. Guess the only list I can really get behind is my own! I have a distinct taste!

Admittedly, I really only posted this list for something different. I felt Pitchfork was the best out of the ones I've seen so far.

What albums would you have in your top list? I'm just curious, as you're sitting here complaining about all of them.

Well, here's the peoples votes for anyone who hasn't seen them

http://www.coldplaying.com/forum/showthread.php?t=89000

Here's mine

1st Mylo Xyloto - Coldplay

2nd Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds - Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds

3rd Suck It And See - The Arctic Monkeys

4th Wasting Light - Foo Fighters

5th Different Gear, Still Speeding - Beady Eye

6th Helplessness Blues - Fleet Foxes

7th Torches - Foster The People

8th Shiver of Joy EP - Black Box Revelation (EPs count right? Even though it's only an Ep, it's fantastic! I can't wait for there full U.S LP!)

9th The King of Limbs - Radiohead

10th I'm With You - The Red Hot Chili Peppers

El Camino is not eligable by Coldplaying.com rules, so I can't put that on there, but it definitly is worthy. Slave Ambiant should probally go somewhere on my list too, but I'm still working out the kinks (waiting till the very last minute to say it's finalized, cause I want to newer albums to have a chance cause I've listened to them less.

I'd also lke to here what the rest of the people on this thread chose as there top albums, I think that could be interesting.....

My honest thoughts on your list:

1. No, EPs don't count, as they're not full albums.

2. I thought the Arctic Monkeys album was boring.

3. Radiohead was good, but it was not up to the standards set based on their previous work.

4. Beady Eye? Seriously? (It's probably better that I stop talking about this now, before I start needlessly ranting about Liam Gallagher...)

5. MX is just...well, my initial ranking of it was a (generous) 4/10, so...

But yeah.

Well on the WoM thread I recently found out Eps do actually count so your number one thought is now invalid.

Also, why did you feel you needed to post this? Of coarse we have different views on music, you don't have to like my list, but this seems kind of rude (especially number 4). You wanted to see my list, so I posted it. You don't need to get argumentive about it. I wouldn't do that to your list. Cool your jets....

Also this ends here. I don't want a fight please. I agree to disagree with you.

Unless I'm missing something, I don't think EPs count. At least, that's what it says on the rules page:

The rules: ~ Original studio albums only, please. No EPs, live albums, reissues, or compilation albums. Soundtracks must be primarily original material. For example the Scott Pilgrim vs. The World soundtrack was not eligible, but the Scott Pilgrim original score was eligible.

I think SPIN is trying a little too hard to be ~~random~~

Did SPIN make the list before October 24th ?

Because if not I don't get why MX isn't in it. I mean, some may not think it's BRILLIANT, but it's still WAY better than Britney Spears!

Not that it really matters, but Mylo Xyloto is being left off virtually all the critics' lists.

Oh your right, I read some peoples posts talking about if they counted and someone (can't remeber who) said it was legal. Your right though, I guess it isn't, I'll have to change my list.:stunned:

My mistake.

Because it's BAD.
