My only two gripes about Mylo Xyloto come from ETIAW.

 

That name is a mess. I hate it. It's insanely cheesy.

 

And my last gripe is when he screams from 2:52 to 3:02.

Actually, I don't know. I like the first 3 songs the most and UFO, UIF, DLIBYH the least. But I still like them.

The entire "All the boys..." part on Charlie Brown

All the solos and alien sounds background on Major Minus

The distortion synthesizer on the beginning of POC

The "Cannonball" part on DLIBYH

The "Wooo oooo ooo, Don't let it... break... your heart" on DLIBYH

The second half of Up With The Birds ("Might have to gooooo...")

The little piano sound after the first chorus on Major Minus

That unnecessary sound on POC before Rihanna starts singing again

The whole Charlie Brown is moment. Other little parts I enjoy are, the guitar bridge after the 1st chorous on HLH, Lalalalala on Paradise, the speeded vcals on CB, ""float away.." part on UATW, Lalalala part on PoC, and many other, but those are amazing!

 

There are not parts I don't like I guess...

I love the little instrumental right before the synths kick in on POC. Also Chris singing "In my scarecrow dreams/when they smashed my heart into smithereens/be a bright red rose come bursting the concrete" Also the guitar near the end of Paradise and the piano at the end of CB and UWTB. I don't really think there are parts I don't "like", there are just varying degrees of awesomeness.

MX is packed with moments that make me immeasurably happy or borderline cry. I love it so much. :embarrassed:

My favorite moments:

Pretty much everything, especially -not in favorite order- HLH, ETIAW, CB, UFO, UATW, DLIBYH, and UTW (and the second part of the song is one of my all-time favorite Coldplay moments :dazzled: )

My least favorite moment:

PoC, at the beginning. There's a weird-un-Coldplay-sound/feeling that kicks in sometimes during this song and I don't appreciate -though I still enjoy PoC :wacky:

Favourite moments: UWTB (both parts), specially its guitar, violin in Paradise, the way Chris' and Rihanna's voice go together when they sing 'and on and on and on' (though I know they recorded it separately), vocals in UATW, Hurts Like Heaven (though I think it's too full), guitar in Major Minus

Least favourite: Poor lyrics in parts of Paradise (despite that it's one of my favourites) and in parts of Princess of China, the wawawa part in ETIAW

most favorite : beginning of Charlie Brown

 

least moment: MMIX -boring-

Most favorite, the transition of MX to HLH the ''written in grafitti on a bridge in the park'' part.
