Tash
1 Bright Eyes 2 Cults 3 Bon Iver 4 Washed Out 5 Kasabian 6 The Strokes 7 Fleet Foxes 8 Cut Copy 9 Coldplay 10 The Pains Of Being Pure At Heart About Mylo Xyloto: The graffiti motif of Coldplay's fifth album, Mylo Xyloto, was partly inspired by the band's attempts to paint their own studio in London. "What we really responded to about street art was the freedom of expression," said Chris Martin, "people turning ugly things into something beautiful". The cover was designed by the Tappin Gofton studio, which previously worked on Coldplay's X&Y cover. An exhibition featuring the Top 50 album sleeves will be seen in the UK, Europe and Australia in 2012. link

Mrk
Cool! But I wonder why Kasabian are at number 5  (I really don't like the Velociraptor artwork)

Acquiesce
The Vaccines's album work was nice too ... El Camino by the Black keys is worth mentioning , no ? and the special edition of Velociraptor (Kasabian) was way better then the 'real' one.. also , if you have it on cd , the 'black' is terrible , I may sound a nerd here , but it's sot black , it grey :/
getithom
Mylo Xyloto is the best.. also Bon Iver's artwork looks weirdly good  Well, duh. It's Bon Iver.
Brent
I've never been fond of the Bon Iver album cover actually. And Joel. Shut up.
getithom
I've never been fond of the Bon Iver album cover actually. And Joel. Shut up. I happen to love Justin Vernon. I was also being sarcastic, jeremyy. I wasn't trying to be a douche.
Samuel_94
Thanks for posting. I like the Hard-Fi 'Killer Sounds' artwork. It's a great album too!
Kiame
I didn't like Mylo Xyloto's cover. It looked like it was done by a high school studnet and it seemed contrived. Now I'm going to swirl some wine around and review other things that don't matter.
vinch
I agree that Bright eyes was the best, love their new album but i still really like both of MXs optional covers
Samuel_94
I didnt think Velociraptor was anything special artwork or music wise.
DavidB5
Bon Iver's art is ok, but I would rather listen to toothpaste boiling than his music.
Prospector
I wouldn't say Mylo Xyloto should be the number 1 , but at least a top 5. The Cults cover is boring, Kasabian's is avarege and I really don't like Angels' artwork. But Bon Iver, Fleet Foxes and Cut Copy's are amazing, really loved this 3. Guest howyousawtheworld
Kasabian's front cover was average, like their album which was yet more of the same drudgery which wets the pants of the one brain cell cretins that are the NME reviewers....and NME readers.
