"What we really responded to about street art was the freedom of expression," said Chris Martin, "people turning ugly things into something beautiful". The cover was designed by the Tappin Gofton studio, which previously worked on Coldplay's X&Y cover. An exhibition featuring the Top 50 album sleeves will be seen in the UK, Europe and Australia in 2012. link

El Camino by the Black keys is worth mentioning , no ? and the special edition of Velociraptor (Kasabian) was way better then the 'real' one.. also , if you have it on cd , the 'black' is terrible , I may sound a nerd here , but it's sot black , it grey :/

January 4, 201214 yr I didn't like Mylo Xyloto's cover. It looked like it was done by a high school studnet and it seemed contrived. Now I'm going to swirl some wine around and review other things that don't matter.

January 4, 201214 yr I wouldn't say Mylo Xyloto should be the number 1 , but at least a top 5. The Cults cover is boring, Kasabian's is avarege and I really don't like Angels' artwork. But Bon Iver, Fleet Foxes and Cut Copy's are amazing, really loved this 3.
