It's not bad. It's got all the inherent Muse-ness that makes me love them.

 

I know it will grow on me; I hate Micro Cuts when I first heard it, but now I love it.

 

EDIT: The bass actually sounds A LOT like the guitar in New Born...

i hadn't realised but i put the song on repeat and it was playing for about 20 minutes. and i realised how much the tune got stuck in my head. i didn't really like it on first listen. but damnnn it's grown on me. :o

The scary and confusing part is that I really do like it- the chorus, anyway... as long as the rest of the album doesn't sound like that....there's still enough Muse-ish elements left, and its growing on me with time.

i think it is one of their more 'pop rock' sounding tracks but its definitely not backstreet boys or britney spears! ... you can't judge a band on one song anyway and say ah they're going down a different route until you hear the whole of the album .. so wait, and wait ... and then you can judge :)
