  • I've been a Muse fan for a couple of years now. I liked a couple of their hits but then a friend invited me to come with him to a Muse concert with him in 2013. The live experience was amazing and I h

awesome news people.

as some of you hardcore muse fans may know, muse are headlining the massive rock am ring/rock im park festivals this weekend. the festival is almost always webcast but its usually just crappy bands who are happy for the exposure a webcast might give them.

well this time around Muse will be webcast on this site

now i cant read german so i cant guarantee anything but if someone who can read german could take a look at that site and see what its saying that would be great. from my estimates i think they will be showing the band live from rock im park or a delayed broadcast of their rock am ring show. either way cant wait.

they go on stage 1.15AM german time.

Hmmm

I just realized, my fitness coach looks like matt bellamy :blank:

i know this has nothing to do with me. but i take issue with that seating plan. now im assuming that those red blocks 1 to 6 are divided in that way to allow for seating. who in their right mind would have an all-seater muse concert! i just fail to see why it would be like that. i can imagine that for a coldplay show or something but with muse a wild moshpit is part of the attraction, an all-seater setup would kill that atmosphere.

^Im not sure if its all seating, isnt it standing room broken up? I have seen the standing room divided before so people dont die getting crushed...

^^

divided in 2 is ok. they have that at the enmore theatre in sydney which despite only having standing room for 1500 people splits the floor in 2 to make it easier to get out at the end.

but thats broken into 6 oddly shaped sections. im really surprised because muse is playing acer arena down here which always divides its floor in half but wont be for muse.

I don't know, I've never been to the Prudential Center before. However, they have those sections labeled as General Admission, so it seems to me like they're just breaking the pit into sections and then you have to go to the section your ticket has.

I'll let you know how it is when I go, though, because I think it's odd too.

Yeah there's something similar with the entertainment centre here, they were originally going to have a barrier (like they do for all concerts, apparently) through the middle of the pit but it's now just going to be one big area.

I got gold reserve seating for the Friday concert at acer. So pumped for this. Any ideas on support acts?

Good question. Muse always have good support. Hopefully its an international AND a local.

Ahh, how epic would it be if they brought over Editors/Kasabian/White Lies?? Not going to happen but still, one can dream...

not a single show that went on sale this morning reached Allocation Exhausted status. are they not as popular as i thought. or does it come to the seating plan they've used including rear view seats which are just expensive are moshpit and gold seating tickets.

Editors - been, Feb 2010.

Kasabian - already coming, July 2010.

White lies - been, July 2009.

I'd be picking someone with an album out this year though.

As for tix not selling, its odd. People mostly want standing otherwise the pillars might make things awkward to view...

^^

i wouldve thought all the fans girls would have snapped up the rear view tickets. if you catch my drift......

Hahah

I hoping for maybe Temper Trap. I somehow doubt it though.

Thanks Pez. Yeah its always tricky working out what time to get there, but its totally worth it if it all pays off and you get an amazing spot!

Pez? :awesome:

Yeah it's annoying cause everyone thinks other people are gonna queue early, so you have to be there early in the morning to get front row... I think some people will sleep in front of the stadium actually :uhoh:

:awesome:

I hope my camera's zoom is good enough for the non-ant pics :uhoh:

What camera do you have?

^^

Haha! I suppose even the fangirls know better than to think the show would actually be better from the back!

A few of the rumours flying around on the muse board include The Living End, who are apparently releasing another album later this year...

Here's another rumour. U2 DJ set.

I don't have one, but I'm going to buy one soon. I've just been using my dads camera, but it's a professional one so I can't take it into gigs :\

^^Make sure you get a good one!

I bought a cheap one to use at gigs, I brought it to two festivals (where it worked perfectly) and then it just randomly broke one day when I was looking at my photos on it.

Not that I can really talk, I've recently just bought a replacement that runs on AA batteries (cos I want to use it at splendour) and it can't seem to focus properly on anything, lol.

Might get the new iphone 4 that was announced today, hope that works at gigs! 5mp by the way but HD VIDEO!!!!
