Muse in Paris

 

:shocked2: Muse at "Parc des Princes" last Saturday.

The young sister of a friend was given for free a ticket to the Parc des Princes last saturday (I couldn't go because of surprise surgery on my left arm (-> No guitar for the next three weeks)). So she went for nothing and as she came back, said it was boring. I would've killed her if I could, but my arm hurt me way too much.

You should have sold me your ticket as i wanted so much to attend their concert. :veryangry: I live in Paris.

Well, Matt was quoted in NME saying wembley wouldn't be too big and overblown, and that they'd do a more visually spectacular show in the future....

 

 

but for now, they're gonna keep recoring and not release an album in the traditional way, maybe some download only stuff, then a new album.

Plug_In_Coldplaying (sorry don't know your name) yep I was there on the opening night.....went with my friend who is also on this board (crazyduckette).

 

We'd both been looking forward to it for months, still buzzing off the last time we saw them. Even made t-shirts, haha :laugh4:

 

It definatley wasn't overblown....at no point during the gig did I think they'd gone totally overboard or it was cringeworthy or anything like that. The only thing that was pretty flashy was the balloon thing (which I took a video of if you fancy a loosky

) but even that was really nicely, and it fitted beautifully with the song.

Most of the time I think we were too busy moshing like crazy and singing our hearts out to really think much about how incredible the stage set and lights really looked....it was all a bit overwhelming, especially with it in a venue of that size.

 

Yet again, for me, Stockholm Sydrome & Citizen Erased were the main highlights....those two songs live just blow my fucking head off. :freak: Newborn, Unintended and Micro Cuts were awesome too, I wasn't expecting those ones.

 

I think they will only get bigger and better....if that's humanly possible!!! :stunned:
