How would you charcterize the reaction within the British media?

I think that they're less "proud" and "patriotic" than the Americans. Obviously everyone is pleased, but they're not as enthusiastic. Ive been watching Fox news and others American news stations here, and they all seem very pleased :smug:

Fox News is going to be the most enthusiastic, but all news stations here are being a little patriotic today. I wonder how much your PM is going to try to use this as a vindication of his decisions.

I myself am a uk person, and we pretty much do live in a dictatorship. Where the government is the majority of the parliament, where if all of one party votes to let a propsed bill pass, it can pass.

 

i don't know how much the us stystem works, but anything bush wants he pretty much seems to get.

That's not very close to a dictatorship. It kind of trivializes the horrors of living under totalitarian regimes when you say proportional representation is akin to a dictatorship.
