SORRY in advance, yes it is a bit shameless, but I love Coldplay and this is 1 of only 2 forums I'm posting this on as I'm sure that some of you will like our song 'Closer' quite a lot fingers crossed. The riff is very Coldplay in my opinion!

Apologies for coming across this way. I don't quite understand the hostile feeling in the thread. I took 'nah' to mean I'm not going to look, which it must of been as nobody liked the page. that's why it wasn't an arrogant assumption. It's perfectly understandable to hate us sure, I only wanted people to try because I'm a big Coldplay fan, and thought some might hear the influence in 'Closer' and enjoy it x

Yeah that's understandable man. I have been a member for years, and helped out with tabs etc not just a new user but still take you're point.

This. You haven't taken the effort to look where this thread would suit best or you just don't understand that a thread about music would fit better in a section about music rather than a section named 'The Lounge'.

I think your music is really well done and your band is talented.

 

You sound like good clean indie rockers and I thought the songs were actually pretty enjoyable.

Straight off the bat, people post their plugs in here quite a bit (no idea why) but normally do it shamelessly so we don't notice so much.

We split up about 2 1/2 years ago. Point being? I still liked Coldplay then, and they were still an influence. it's disheartening there are people to just be horrible for the sake of it. Thanks very much, appreciate it. To be honest, I didn't even look for it. I posted in The Killers forum and there is no music section and I assumed here was the same, it is my own laziness that missed it. But thanks again for listening.

I honestly don't think anyone who isn't in a band has any idea how difficult it is. I've posted on TWO forums, just trying to get our music out there a bit more. I'm thankful 2 people have been good enough to listen and the feedback has been good.

I think the main complaint is that you posted in the wrong section. I'm sure a mod will move the thread.

If you actually look at the replies the hate is only what the thread starter felt, nobody really said anything that bad.
