chris' last minute songs

Featured Replies

Just wondering about this, i remember reading an official studio blog a while ago and read that it was a bit joke that chris always comes up with a last minute song that has to be rushed onto the album. I remember it was up in flames for mx and a message for x&y. Anyone know what the song was for the other albums? (if there was one)

Wasn't it 42 on VLV? And the Scientist or Clocks on AROBTTH.

I don't know for Parachutes. :)

I'm not sure at all, though, it can be wrong :inquisitive:

Yeah, Clocks almost didn't make it on AROBTTH. It was already stored and labelled for LP3. Good old Phil implored the guys to take another look at it.

It's a good question to ask the guys next time they open a chat. The last songs for Parachutes and VLV.

I think 42 was the last one for VLV..I think I listened to Chris saying so on an interview back then

Yeah me too. He said Lost! was the first one and 42 was the last one if I remember that well :D

clocks, a message, 42, up in flames... they're really great last minute songs, love A Message

I don't think it was 42 for VLVODAAHF. Wasn't it mentioned on the Whatever it takes artwork? And I think that has been out there since 2006.
