Can you get more than one Xyloband?

Featured Replies

Hello!

Before I start, I would like to mention that I was unsure where to post this, so if it's in the wrong category, I'm sorry!

My question: I know a Xyloband is given with every ticket, but can you get/purchase another? I'm going to the July 2nd show and a friend wants a souvenier, but I would really rather not pay $40 for a T-Shirt, and I figured that even if it won't ever light up for her, she'd still like it!

So is there any way to get more than one?

Thanks for your help!

No, you are allowed only one when you walk in the door. Sorry. If you see people with multiple xylobands, they may have been to more than one show and are wearing them again, or they have been greedy and taken more than one, thus denying another fan their xyloband. Please don't take more than one, because they have run out of bands for a few shows (including one that I went to, so I didn't get a band, which was very disappointing). They are absolutely stunning when all lit up in the arena/stadium.

^

But I was such a lucky bastard. The guy who handed them out, gave me 2 xylobands, dunno why. I think there were some left.:)

There are a ton on ebay for sale if your friend really, really wants one?

Please, do not buy one on ebay. That really defeats the purpose of owning a Xyloband...they are meant for the show, and audience interaction. MAYBE, just MAYBE check in with an usher or ticket taker at the venue AFTER the show to see if they have any extras and if they may give you one.

^ Her friend isn't going to the concert anyway so why not buy one on eBay?

Where are your seats for the show??

There is also a ton of confetti, and if you go around the sides of the stage (not the floor - in Dallas, they won't let you on the floor), but in our section near the stage there was a ton of confetti everywhere, I came home with a stack of it:D

I am pretty sure that you can find someone willing to give up their band for your friend though!!!

wow they are expensive on eBay :o maybe as more concerts take place they will get cheaper.

I'm keeping mine though :D

You should have given one back. Someone may have missed out because of you.

don't think you can get more than one xyloband, they have people handing them out one per person. That was my experience from one of the London shows.

At Coventry, you could probably have gotten loads if you drifted around the concourse because they were giving them out after the gates. At Emirates, they were giving them out as you approached the gates so you'd only get one. Having said that, on the first London date, I saw people with loads - someone had at least six, and there'd only been one gig by then. So it'll depend on the person giving them out, and how strict they're going to be.
