We decided after Toronto night 1, to spread it all over the hotel room bed, just for fun :laugh3:

Decided to buy a giant glass container to put it all in. It's now sitting on top of my computer desk at home:

 

His previous owner named him Hydro, so he's Hydro Xyloto now,lol.

 

I need to find a better way to stick the butterflies to the glass though. A few have fallen off. I don't want to tape of glue them in case I need to move. If anyone comes up with something, let me know. :)

 

First of all, the Xyloband collar on the cat - love it.

 

You can get a spray adhesive that is light and sort of like the adhesive on sticky notes. Lets you position whatever you want to stick but also pick it up and reposition it, and I think it would be easy to clean off glass.

My confetti is hanging from the ceiling (looking like its floating) and stuck to my wall, I want to show everyone but I don't know how to add a picture? I'm using iPad?:guy::will::chris::jonny:

Good idea Jilly that would work well.. and I LOVE the cat collar! LOL.. my cats would do something stupid if I put xylo collars on them.. hang themselves or something! So they are inside my frame instead.. it's a box frame, and the bands are pinned in place.

 

 

 

from the Emirates... they all got a little wet, given that we were under a power shower for most of the gig... I didn't get any in Chicago.. unless you count the ones I found outside the car park for the tour buses before the gig..

Not hugely creative, but i stuck a few of my butterflies from the VLV tour to the side of one of my CD racks. I can lay back on my bed and look at them which is nice. :nice:

 

 

I've still got a whole plastic bag full of them stashed away in my wardrobe but i don't know what to do with them. :\ Maybe this thread will inspire me. :escaping:

Haha, yeah. He doesn't get to wear it all the time. Only when I'm home and able to keep an eye on him. I'm half afraid he'd chew it off,lol.

...but I noticed there aren't any "new 2012 shiny confettis" :stunned:

 

I had some "new shiny confettis" from Zürich and I feel a little sad seeing that it seems that they aren't used anymore... :(

...maybe Coldplay only use them for the "Stadium Gigs" (?!)

Haha thanks! Yeah I grabbed a ton after both Toronto shows. I was stuffing it everywhere.

 

I even stole the laundry bag from the hotel room to put it all in to carry onto the plane. I didn't want it to get all squished in my suitcase so I had that huge bag of confetti as one of my carry ons :laugh3:

Just pick out the pieces you want, spread them out flat, and put something heavy on them for a while.

Ah okay. I'll do that sometime. I heard that someone ironed them and I wasn't really sure if that worked or not....

Anyway, with my confetti... well, I was originally thinking of framing it with my ticket stubs and setlist too, but I'm not sure yet because my boyfriend is NOT a fan and I don't know how he would feel about any more Coldplay stuff hanging on the walls. lol. so I'm trying to think of a more subtle way I can display it in the house.

 

If and when I do something with it, I'll post a photo of the results here ;)

I wouldn't leave the cats unsupervised wearing the wristbands, since they have lots of tiny wires in them. But it's a great photo op!:D
