Awesome thread! I'm still waiting on doing something with all of my confetti too!

Thank you for posting this! This is my creation, and I'm really excited to see that people like it!

Here's how I did it:

-First, iron all the confetti that you will be using. Works like a charm!

-Then I laminated the confetti and put multiple pieces on one lamination sheet, then cut each one out.

-Then I sewed strips of about 6-7 pieces together, just sewing in a straight line, leaving space between each one.

-I left some extra length on the thread so that I could tie the thread onto a metal rim I bought ($3 at Michaels) Or you can also use an upside down lampshade.

-Evenly place them onto the metal rim, and your chandelier is done!

Thanks again, guys!

I'm the one that sent you the message! Thanks so much for posting the instructions! :)

You could use some of them as bookmarks. I'd do it

Um, I don't own one, I just used one - won't say more as that could get me in trouble :lipsrsealed2::wink3::escaping2:

Good idea. I really like the result and handling them. Is that weird?

The laminating gets out all the wrinkles, unless it's really badly creased. It was fun doing it and sorting the confetti was quite a meditative experience...:nice:

Thought of starting a new science: "Confettiology" - there would be so many things to research!:D

Haha, no :D They look awesome like this.

I want to laminate them just like that!

Then I am planning on getting some neon and glow in the dark paint, or crafting glue, and either paint the whole thing, or draw the borders with it, and finally have them hanging from the ceiling in some part of my room or living room, that way, when the lights are out, they will glow! (they will be glowing in the dark <3 :dozey:)

This is what I did with my confetti for the show tonight. I scanned them and printed on iron-on transfer paper. ha5a8avu.jpg

^ Oh that is so cool! And you're lucky, here on the east coast with the snow everywhere and going to a Coldplay concert...

I put them on my working desk, not so creative though.

Then one of my colleague came and ask if I like butterfly, I said "No, I like coldplay".:smug:

His face was like

I finally got to laminating the confetti two other coldplayers from here sent me, first I wrote the show from which I received them, and then my favourite verse of the lyrics of the songs...

I do not have the laminating machine, only the paper, so for the next batch I will have to make sure to get the air out of it before I iron it lol
