ok so im planning on buying a synth like guy plays. um what synth do they use. also i would like to know more about them. i know that you have to get sounds and stuff. but i dont know how it works. any websites. cause im dying to know. can they connect to an ipad or something?

Well it is not a synth. It's a MIDI controller (korg kontrol 49 to be exact) and the unit doesn't have any sounds of itself. They connect it to a rack with receptors & modules with VST's (NI KOMPLETE & others) than out to the main pa console.

If we could only get a hold of their laptop. Just think of all the sounds, and keys, and everything. Great video!! :)

The laptop perhaps contain all the tracks and sessions from the studio, but the first thing I will put my hands on is the special module (based on a tack piano) which is the key of Chris piano sound.
