Good afternoon. You only have until tomorrow evening to check out the Mylo Xyloto artwork exhibition at Proud Galleries in Camden, London. The exhibition will raise funds for Kids Company and closes at 5pm on Sunday, 2 December.

The show will feature three original paintings on canvas by Coldplay and the band's Mylo Xyloto artwork collaborator Paris, as well as the original 7m X 2.5m graffiti wall that became the album artwork. A second wall painted by children from Kids Company and Paris will be displayed alongside Coldplay’s larger wall.

The exhibition also features exclusive photographs from Roadie #42 (aka Matthew Miller).

All of the work is for sale - both at the exhibition and online now at Album Artists' website - with 100% of the proceeds going to Kids Company, a children’s charity which reaches out to over 17,000 vulnerable young people in the most deprived areas of London.

The Mylo Xyloto exhibition will take place at Proud Galleries, The Horse Hospital, Stables Market, Chalk Farm Road, London NW1 8AH. Entry is free and it will be open from 11am to 5pm today and tomorrow. For the full list of available works, click here.

Just got back! Had a great time, esp as I got to meet Row! :D It was fantastic to see the art work close up. Have some pics, but most have already been posted so I've just posted a small selection. There was 'princess of india' and a date (which I can't remember, but Row took a pic) on part of the wall which was interesting...We also made a pilgrimage to the bakery/beehive, but no action except us freezing on the bench (and certain activities involving chocolate buttons and bananas ;) )...

Coldplay's 'Mylo Xyloto' Graffiti

Band exhibits artwork for children's charity in London

Coldplay raised over £130,000 for a children's charity at the launch of its artwork exhibition in London on Wednesday night. Frontman Chris Martin and guitarist Jonny Buckland both attended the private viewing of original artwork at Proud Galleries in Camden, North London. Sales of the artwork and prints will benefit Kids Company, a charity which provides support to vulnerable children.

Speaking at the event, Martin praised Kids Company founder Camila Batmanghelidjh and urged people to contribute, telling reporters: "There's a range of stuff, with prices from £1 to £1 million."

Artwork featured includes the original 7m by 2.5m graffiti wall, created by Coldplay and artist Paris, that became the Mylo Xyloto album artwork, plus unseen photographs from their world tour, which concluded its Australian leg November 21st in Brisbane. At that show, Martin hinted of a hiatus for the band: "This is our last big show for three years or so," he said, although the band still has three U.S. shows to perform this year.

Other stars attending the launch included Mylo Xyloto producer Brian Eno, Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman's daughter Bella Cruise, and Spice Girl Melanie "Mel C" Chisholm, who was seen laughing and joking with Martin. The exhibition runs at Proud Camden until December 2nd.

Awesome thing to see. That wall is amazing. I could have spent all day finding things to read on it.. it's so detailed.

The R42 photos are lovely too. We did consider buying one for £25. But they were small, and really.. I have LOTS of photos! LOL.. :D
