I'm actually thinking of one...
Oh boy, is it gonna be a hard riddle? I hope it is

Anyone ? I'll give you a good hint: This doesn't have anything to do with the colour purple, and you don't need to know any songs or really anything at all about the band Deep Purple.

Is Prince involved?

Spiderwebs - Trouble?

I took the initials from "Deep Purple" --> DP --> Don't Panic.

The song was released 2x, in 1999 on The Blue Room and in 2000 on Parachutes.

In between - geography :p - those 2 DP's there is an unreleased song "Spiderwebs" which was an early version of Trouble.

Interesting thoughts but unfortunately no...

New hint: This really is about geography in the truest sense of the word.

Instead of saying it goes over into Deep Purple I could also say it lies close to the Beatles...

OK since this riddle seems to be a bit difficult after all, here's A REALLY GOOD HINT.

Violet Hill was mentioned. Violet Hill, as you know, is a street. Sometimes songs get named after streets.

And sometimes streets get named after songs.

And sometimes they get named after other things to do with music...

Moses?

The only connection I see between Coldplay and Deep Purple is Joe Satriani.

And also The Beatles occur in a plagiarism story.

But if I have to find a street, then I'd guess St Stephen.

There is a Stephen street near Camden. :grinning:

Haha, I found that Satriani connection too when I prepared for this riddle. But it has nothing to do with it.

You do have to find a street. There is actually something better than a street named like a Coldplay song...somewhere in the world, there is a street named like....

I have found > 5 streets with the name of an unreleased song. [emoji48]

I could start summing them up but without the connection with the riddle I dont think that's fair.

Fun fact:

I do have to mention that there is an Coldplaystraat in Nijmegen, The Netherlands. [emoji16]

My favorite Dutch song "Mooie Ellebogen" is recorded and released though. [emoji848]

We're not looking for a street with the name of an unreleased song...

Yes ! And now look at the map again and see which street it goes over into... :imp:

And then go back to clue No.1, which I dug up for you again: "Where Coldplay goes over to Deep Purple and vice versa, find an unreleased song from the time before that happened."
