The first song I bought was Mr Boombastic by Shaggy in 1995. I was seven years old at the time (which is my excuse).

The first album I bought was Marshall Mathers LP by Eminem.

The most recent album I downloaded was Julianna Barwick's Believe You Me.

Bit of a change.

I can't remember the first song I ever downloaded, and I've never bought a song individually.

The first album I ever bought was Coldplay's Viva La Vida Prospekt's March edition

The most recent song I downloaded was Wear It On Our Face by The Dells.

The most recent album I downloaded was The xx's debut, because the files I downloaded before haven't been playing properly for years

Awesome piece of music. I stuck it on a playlist that I posted on here the other day.

First song I bought: I have no idea... I'd have to check itunes, but I think it was a Thom Yorke video from the basement (not exactly a song, but prior to this I always bought CDs)

First album I bought: I think it was Imagine-John Lennon or perhaps Who are You-The Who. There may be other albums, but those are the first ones I remember buying

Most Recent song I bought: I think it is The Sky Was Pink-Nathan Fake (James Holden Remix)

Most recent album I bought: Well I preordered the upcoming National Album, not sure if that counts.

The first... I think it was a Coldplay song... An album... I guess an entire Coldplay album

Most recent: Pray To Be Free (song) by James Levy and the Blood Red Rose. The harmonic blend of Levy's and Pierce's voices is stunningly beautiful.

I haven't gotten this yet, but I have a great urge to purchase U2's How to Dismantle an Atomic Bomb with all the b-sides.

First in a while. Let's try to bring this to light a little more, so we could hear everyone's first/most recent purchases! :)

First song: Perfect (Acoustic Version) - Simple Plan. I went looking for the version by Hedley (a Canadian band that's as popular as Taylor Swift in Canada but virtually unknown everywhere else, you likely don't know of them). Adore both songs to this day, including the normal version of Simple Plan's Perfect.

First albun: ...I don't know. I know it was a Coldplay album though. If I had to guess it'd likely be Ghost Stories.

Most recent song: Jane Says - Jane's Addiction. Heard this on satellite radio which I've been listening to more of recently, especially the Lithium channel which feels like an extended version of the playlist I have on my phone since nearly every song that comes on I get on my phone. If it weren't for them I wouldn't have known many bands I've turned out to like today. I guess the radio still is good in the right places... :)

Most recent album: If I remember correctly, Jon Hopkins "Immunity", which was around 3 months ago. A beautiful experimental minimalist techno style album, I really enjoy this one. Exactly an hour long too. Interestingly enough.

So ya. :)
