I LOVE it! I've heard several versions now, including the Tears for Fears original - but I HAVE to say that my fave is the Gary Jules' version. Is this too 'poppy' for you guys?

yea, mad world is a great song. I heard it for the first time on the donnie darko movie, and i was like " :stunned: wow, this song rocks!" but then i was searching for it on kazaa, and i found the tears for fears version, and i think it is better than gary's cover... i dunno... Gary's version is too depressing.

exactly! Any song that can give off a slight political statement and sell well deserves such recognition and I'm happy the kids like it too(ok I sound like a granny!) but yes it's good :)
