That will be it I fear. From what I've read, it's sort of a review of the last 12 months of British music, I'd be very surprised if they play any non-GS stuff. Also, it's a 2 hour show and more acts are still to be announced, so I can't see a iheartradio-esq set.

 

(Oh, and I think Ed will perform Sing and Don't.)

I'm a fan of his whole album, Don't and Thinking Out Loud included. Annoyed he didn't come to Cardiff on his UK tour though (probably because the Motorpoint Arena is terrible compared to the other UK arenas)

When he performed four days in London I thought of going but I think I'm more of seeing him with other acts too. Coincidentally, BBC Music Awards gives an opportunity to watch him and Coldplay (which I'm glad for it yeay :dance:) so I hope it's worth going :)

 

The part I like about him the most is he sings with his only acoustic guitar, and his songs are very catchy. He doesnt need drums nor piano. One man standing on stage is more than enough :D

Agreed, he's superb live (from what I've seen on YouTube). I was thinking about going to The O2 too, decided not to for the good of my bank balance, but I hope to see him live for myself soon. As I said, my dream would be an U1R show with Ed. Chris likes Ed, so who knows?

Both of them like each other musically. I remember Chris had seen him live at BBC Glasgow earlier this year. He also tweeted that he liked one of Ed's favorite songs. I was actually hoping if Sam Smith would perform as well. If Ed, Sam and Coldplay were playing during the awards, my life would be so complete :dance:

Haha, fair enough. Think Sam Smith will be one of the TBC acts, his schedule looks clear for December and he seems to be playing pretty much everything at the moment. I'm not a fan of his personally, just heard Stay With Me way too many times for my liking.

Lol, he's really good actually. I'm liking I'm Not The Only One at the moment. His voice is beautiful and his songs, I could say, are all mellowed but all nicely produced :) I'm not really a fan of him too but I think he kinda fits with this event tbh after Coldplay and Ed Sheeran.

Gaaaarh. The pain. Every time there's a giveaway I'm like WOOOH LET'S DO IT! But then I read those words: please don't enter unless you can definitely make it. And then it occurs to me that it's in friggin London and I don't have money for a plane ticket and I can't get time off work and GAAAH. :(

Since they are opening the show I'm thinking it will be ASFOS to get the crowd jumping and ready for the evening!

I was a bit disappointed when I found it they'd be opening the awards. I'd have preferred the anticipation of them closing the show or playing towards the end but I kinda expected them to probably open it.

 

Almost certain it'll be A Sky Full of Stars they'll play.

 

Can't wait to be honest. There's some very decent other acts playing like Take That, Ellie Goulding, Clean Bandit, Ed Sheerhan.... Really looking forward to it to be honest.
