haven't checked their official website for a while..i don't like MB there at all...but there is a Journal Website recording all the funny stuff of the strokes, which is soo good...

Nick: Cutecool Dukie (He is like a girl to me sometime :blush: :cool: )

 

Julian: Dropping Tearie (Julian' eyes are always full of too much water :cry: ..I mean sad....I like an article about "his reading Tostoyevsky" stuff and I think he is profund besides a good outlook... :cool: )

 

Nikolai: Russian Romani (He is so quiet.....reminding of a russian novel Father & Son...I love his pure/clean eyes, so composure)

Fab: Modern Architest (u know, his previous major..no wonder he can draw Nick soooooo well :D he is a handsome dude)

 

Albert: Noknow Saddy Playboy (huuhh, such a noble man...I am impressive by a sentence from Nick: " you know, albert...he is such a person who need not Try to be Happy :smug: )

i finally got my welcome package from the fan club after 7 months i joined in april and i got it in november!

they've been smoking too much dank if you ask me

i litterally like just got into the strokes. like i bought their 'room on fire' album maybe two weeks ago. i really didn't go for their sound at all on the prior album, but 'room on fire' is track after track of solid music. i adore it.

really? they've been around for a while

i like Is This It more but they are both good, 'is this it' is a more mellow cd i think

got it...actually their rhythm attracted me first (although, later, kind of dull/repeated), and I do think their stuff had some Classic Rock elment, which I am not very clear but like...and then yeah, they are cool guys other than showing off or too fake...

well, i always tend to like the heavier more produced stuff. i'm not very hard-core cool.

 

like, most people prefer parachutes -- but i'd take 'a rush...' over it any day. well, i guess it depends on my mood...but generally i like 'a rush...' more.

hmmm...physicially, yes...

but sometimes, the heavy in Coldplay style is different in The Strokes style...i mean they are totally different rock. But I know Kitty's meaning.

 

it is funny that I didn't like "heavy" stuff at all, like metallic..but I can totally accept the Strokes' stuff...Take it or Leave it is a heavy piece...

 

but hope they will not do heavier stuff in the third album, otherwise they will lost a loyal fan :snore: :dozey:

 

I still hold that their instrument line is so clear and even simple, bass/guitar/drum..which rocks :cool:
