Coldplay have never been provocative. And on the matter itself, I wholeheartedly disagree with Nick Timothy - on the contrary, I believe celebs whose words can reach and influence many people even ought to speak out against political shortcomings of any kind. Sure, it does raise their profile, but as long as it is not for a doubtful cause I prefer people who have the ability to influence public opinion to a certiain degree to stick up for their views rather than silently aquiesce with everything that's going on politically.

Said that, I'm not used to suspect on everything somebody does, so anybody's free to do whatever they want if it doesn't hurt other people. So that's why I think this article is rubbish

Like 97% of the world he was basically just mad at George W Bush i think? :lol: also we all know Chris gets super awkward when it comes to doing a speech at an awards show :nod: Why can't the media get over former, awkward Chris Martin?!
