Da needs to sleep!! there is this Flemish saying "de kaas van tussen je brood laten halen". Very loosely translated to English that means "to let the cheese been taken from your bread/sandwich". It means that you have done so much effort to get somewhere but let someone else get the credit/win. @Gideon_Mx, I hope you are not upset by my teasing.
