Lost won't suck. It seems ever since they made a deadline to when the show would end the show has gotten better (honestly i like this past season as much as the first two seasons, 3 was the worst, 4 was alright IMO). I think that having a deadline allows them to really focus on writing great episodes, rather than everything being open ended.

3 started off slow, but there are reasons for that, other than the very start of 3 I've loved pretty much every episode of lost, it's such a good show and it absolutely wont "suck"

i guess perhaps that's why i didn't like season 3 as much is as you mentioned because it went a bit slow at first. I mean i still love season 3 still, but it was the season i least liked.

I loved 3 from the moment they found Karl in the brainwashing room "God loves you as He loved Jacob", it's also when the show started to get more sci-fi orientated and I love it for that.

 

5 and 2 are my favourites though and "The Incident" (season 5 finale) is my favourite episode ever

that was a cool part. I started watching the show right at the beginning of season 3. I don't remember when I fell in love with the show, probably at the beginning. I can't think of a favorite episode but my favorite character would have to be Ben hands down, really like his acting and mind games.
