my first guitar was actually a squire strat. when my dad got it for me he basically said that he didn't want me to get such an expensive guitar in case it didn't stick and that if I had an interest in playing I could buy a more expensive one.

 

I would like to get that sunburst tele... that's the one i've had my eye on for a while. it looks so sweet!

when I bought my tele (i got it @ sam ash) I got a free carlo robelli acoustic guitar. It's kinda shit (it buzzes on certain notes), but it's a good knock around guitar.

That tele is sick, black really works on it. And I've had my eye oin a Martin acou-electric similar to that for years, but it's $1300..I still aim to get it before I go off to college.

 

I could use a knock around guitar. Can't do that with my Yamaha, it's 25 years old passed down from my dad. :lol:

Yah I'd say that would be the better thing to get first, since you already have guitars, but no bass. And then if you still want you could get the guitars too of course. But yah, I would want the thing that I didn't have one of yet. Besides, basses kick ass.

Unfortunately I just have my acoustic right now, but I used to have a crappy squier strat that I gave to my bro. I'm whatchacall a guitarcenter addict, so I've spent countless hours toying with floor models of various guitars. Though not an owner, I'm a tele man deep down.
