also, if anybody else thinks of something i wouldn't want something that needs straightening or too much effort to maintain

 

i want to wake up on a friends floor and then walk home looking nothing too much worse than a bit dishevelled

Buzz cut. Easiest thing. Gets rid of the grays and is easy to maintain. You can even do it yourself.

i would be very happy if you could all help me. i want a new haircut but have no idea what. getting it cut next tuesday. any suggestions? my hair is like this (though a bit longer right now) and so it would have to be a cut that my hair is capable of (so no afro's :P)

I think you should pretty much keep the same hair style but mostly make the sides shorter. Something like this is what I mean :

Maybe it's just me, but I hate having styled haircuts, I feel like it's not really reflecting my own personality that way, it's just all faked.

Haha! I just like my hair kinda longish but I hate when the back and sides get too long, so I get those cut shorter, it's totally adapted to how I like my hair, so it works for me, it's nothing to do with style or anything.
