Waitt!! I have a really good tip!!

 

You can use regular cheapish acrylic paint (as long as it isn't tempura, mind you) and paint the pants and THEN if you don't like it you can wash it off -- but once you DO like it all you have to do is iron the pants fairly well and that'll make the paint stick on. :D
