Alright u guys have gone to bed....but! :P

whats up with this "guystock" that Guy has been throwing in NY?!

Rolling Stone's Smoking Section are still recovering from their crazy Memorial Day weekend which included a visit to Coldplay's... well, smoking section. Here's their report:

On Friday night we all went to GuyStock -- a BBQ and beerfest thrown by Coldplay bassist Guy Berryman [pictured] -- that is certain to become an annual tradition. GuyStock was legendary.

The Coldplay guys are so goddamn nice that they invited the SS to come to one of their gigs on the East Coast, so the following day we joined Fab and our other favorite drummer, Matt Romano (who was the bedrock at DylanFest), on a field trip to Connecticut! We rolled with Coldplay to Teterboro Airport in Jersey, hopped on the band's (modest) private plane, sucked down a few Becks', and rolled over to the Comcast amphitheater to watch Coldplay's gig.

We've seen the band play about a dozen times over the years (mostly while we were doing a Coldplay cover story a few years back), but the quartet were truly incredible in Connecticut. We've never seen a band engage the crowd like they did. They were running around the whole venue, playing a few songs towards the back of the shell, and racing up to the lawn to give a special treat for those in the cheap seats.

(Thanks to Vicki and Franksy for hookin' it all up!)

An Annual tradition?! :o

He BETTER invite all his berrygirls to this next year! cus how dare he not give us an invite this year!?!?! :shifty::whip: :whip:

:P

^^Liz ! I know but they didn't go into much detail other than beer and BBQ. I want to know why it's legendary, besides the presence of the man himself :bomb:

and right on no invite?! What's up with that :whip: maybe he just wanted to do a dry run and get it perfect before he invites us next year :P

Now I'm really going to sleep night all !!

Yeah im pretty sure Guy would throw the best party ever so thats why it has to be legendary!

Beer. BBQ. and Guy are the only things i need to have fun at that party! :sneaky:

and yeah Jenn thats what im thinking too! he wanted to make sure everything ran smoothly this time round b4 he invites his precious berrygirls :smug:

what I want to know is what they mean by "thrown by Guy"

does that mean he just sets it up and organizes it?

i would hope it means that he would jump in there a get his bbq cooking thang on :wink3:

i know for one thing that he in fact likes or used to like chopping vegetables at least.

haha dang liz. why so serious. i think i will make it. but i have so many ideas that i guess i am not 100 percent sure. maybe i won't make that sign i think it would make my friend feel uncomfortable.

well im just being serious so u can really do what u want to do! haha

yeah that might make your friend feel weird....and it doesnt make sense either if you are really planning on making that sign but then being on jonnys side tho! :P

Hey everyone. My pictures will be fully uploaded tomorrow I think, but for now I just wanted to leave you all a little somethin'.
