July 20, 20242 yr Is it the same as A film for the future? If not then why would they spend so much time on working on these animated music video for Moon Music instead of focusing on the movie? I'm feeling that they are using these videos to tease the movie. Also it doesn't make sense to release it after the self titled because of 2 reasons the first is that it's supposed to be a part of the Music of spheres trilogy& tour it wouldn't make much sense to release vol1 then vol2 then a self titled album then release vol3, and the second reason is the idea of making a self titled/back to roots album is to go full circle with their discography it will be meaningless if they dropped another album after "Coldplay".
July 20, 20242 yr Author Unless they say otherwise, I’m assuming MOTS3 is seperate to afilmforthefuture Even if it’s not a film soundtrack at the end of the day they still have 2 albums left. One being self titled and one being MOTS3, whatever form that may take.
July 21, 20242 yr My guess is A Film for the Future is MOTS3. Probably there will be more songs from the leaks already heard but looking forward to this. However I don't anticipate it getting here soon, seeing we have Moon Music out in October and the usual time between CP albums is 3 years? After that, there is only one album, which is just Coldplay. So just a thought for everybody - probably we don't have to guess any more album titles :(((

Keep in mind that Moon Music was supposed to come out last year so there's no way that FFTF2024 was related to Moon Music originally i think they just made these Animated videos for Moon Music songs just to honor the 2024 clue
July 25, 20242 yr Author My theory is FFTF2024 was originally going to be something else, but they ran out of time to do it so they repurposed the title for a Moon Music lyric video compilation.

July 25, 20242 yr Author I took a few hours off with my wife and feel a lot better now. You're right, it was undignified and a bad look. Anyway, I don't see any harm in speculating in future releases. It might not be grounded completely in reality but it's a fun way to kill the time, and obviously things will get updated as we get future information. The thread might have been premature, sure, but we're going to need one eventually. So I see no harm in having one ready.

July 25, 20242 yr I'm really excited for this project. It would be sweet if the potential Robots song if it does happen I'm hoping the music video to Robots features the same Robot used in Coldplay's Talk music video. That would be a fun nod.

It’s short but emotional, and obviously it’s early to speculate as you’ve all pointed out but I think it could work as a closer the same way The Escapist is attached to DAAHF, or Life Is For Living follows on from Everything’s Not Lost. Not the main thing but a hidden track.
