Just got played on Radio 1 and XFM. First impression is that I really really like it and hopefully the new album will be just as good! Should be up and about at all your fav download sites soon I reckon.

 

Oh that and I got a mention on Lamacq Live too with one of my texts! Not that I crave fame or anything :smug: :rolleyes:

No chance! It kickstarted a whole new wave of great UK bands. Even though they're not the best UK band around they got other bands a lot of airplay just by breaking through. A whole leap forward for music I say!! :)

Yep it is! NME had a piece about it last week.

Haven't heard it yet, but I'm impressed that a band in this modern age is actually going to release an album only a year after their first.(Their website claims that "simply and quickly" is the way that "albums should be recorded.")

 

Still, I'm eager. They don't have the talent the Killers have, but they do remind the world that pop-rock can be fun without being annoying or too serious.

I think you just summed them up Sir Raptor. They've reclaimed the word Pop from being a dirty word!

It's a good song and the video's quite good. Not one of my favourite Franz songs though.

I'm a fan of Franz too :) . Go on their website http://www.franzferdinand.org and u can download a bunch of their new songs performed live. What You Meant, This Boy, and Well That Was Easy are all pretty good.

Well, I just heard the live version of it. My first reaction is that it's just alright. Maybe it'll grow on me later.

i think the studio version, is alot better than the live version.

I got to see the video awhile ago and I really like it. Haha. They are so cool. The song is still kinda growing on me though, but the lyrics are good.
