i can't believe someone in their right mind would post this poll and think any of us would actually care for either artist. both of them are a joke and don't deserve the spotlight they've been given.

Now, back to sanity here, I think Avrils a terrible role-model. She'd nearly be a great role-model, but she completely over-does it and now she's ruined a lotta kids lives.

 

Now I see stupid little girls wearing ties and falling off skateboards because theyre "Doing their own thing". Avril Lavigne promotes lack of education and American mall-culture which doesnt exist anywhere, no, not even in America. She's so negative in all her interviews she should make little girls sick.

 

Britney is also an awful role-model, but at the same time I dont think she's effecting any young minds. Lots of kids are trying to whore it up Christina Aguilera style, but I dont see any 10 year olds who listen to Britney quite like that. From what I know, kids have a pretty innocent viewpoint on Britney, its the media and grown-ups that see what she does as dirty and disgusting.

 

Now, dangerous 15 year olds experimenting with lots of sex do NOT listen to Britney Spears. And I cant see songs like 'Toxic' leading to the 12 year olds of today turning into sex morons in 2 years.

Yeah, like you said, it's more Christina than Britney, but every time I see anybody who's clearly younger than 18 wearing hip-huggers or midriff-baring shirts or what have you, I nearly want to vomit, and I'm not sure if it's because of the kids' terrible role models or the kids' parents for letting them wear that stuff. :rolleyes:

Other than that most people that age wearing that stuff look nasty. :P

But i gotta say that britney's new album is way better than avril's new album. well, at least the singles are. i havent heard all the tracks yet.
