I dunno, I've never been to those places...if you want a break i dont see why not, how long would it take to get to edinburgh?

I recommend you to go to York, if you can. I was there last summer and it's a very nice city. The York Minster is amazing and the city has a beautiful charm...

I enjoyed a lot although I was there just one day...

 

And the races are funny too!! :D

4.5 hours from london to edin. but if i go to york/newcastle, i get to go along the coast. :smug:
