No, its just you getting obsessed with their music.

 

Of course Keane sound like Coldplay, and there are a few other bands too, but its definately not as nearly every alt band sounds like them.

 

Im serious about you becoming obsessed with their music. Like when I got incredibly into the Smashing Pumpkins, and I could listen to Nancy Sinatra and think "Hey that sounds like something off Gish".
