they're another band I've been meaning to check out. Heard great things about them from sigur ros fans. maybe I'll dl some of their songs today. :-D

i have reserved the sigur ros () cos it sound real interesting - and the are from iceland, kewl

This band is absolutely incredible. "East Hastings" had me hooked after I first watched 28 Days Later a couple years back.

'Lift your skinny fists' is a masterpiece.

 

I was also hooked on Efrim Menuck's solo album a couple months ago.

This thread makes me want to listen to GY!BE again. I love the idea of using recordings of people speaking and overlapping music over it.
