I have heard that Von is really weird. I'll listen to it someday.

 

 

Með suð is good from what I've heard. I really like the bottom half of the album a lot. I have to listen to it more.

IMO it sounds like it could be an Animal Collective song more than a Sigur Ros song

The first part of the album is too much.. in your face, or something. Especially the first two tracks. I really like Við spilum endalaust though. It's just the right amount of happiness. :nice: But I think my favourites off the album are Fljótavík/Straumnes and Ára bátur.

 

It took me probably about 5 listens to realize that All Alright was actually sung in English. Hadn't really paid much attention to the tracklisting I guess. :D

Yeah, Cello bows are the best.

You have to put a lot of that Rosin or whatever stuff on the bow so it can actually grip the strings.

 

I've used my brother's violin bow a couple of times but it doesn't work too well

There's a girl who I teach French to (since she's from the english part of Canada) and she traveled a lot around the world. My jaw dropped when she told me she saw Sigur Rós live in Iceland :o I was soooo jealous :P
