I read that "review" - LMAO, what kind of a review is that when it only discusses 2 songs ? I mean I agree with some of the criticism of these 2 songs but it looks like the "reviewer" deliberately left the others out of the picture because they didn't fit his condescending attitude towards Coldplay...

Yes, I was disappointed as well that there was no real surprise for Paris. I would sooo have loved to hear Fun with Tove Lo, or any of the new songs. Really bummed that they keep their new songs for the American shows. They knew we were all waiting for them here in Europe, why not make a bit of an effort and at least play the odd one here too ? I really don't understand them, it seems that they don't care at all...

I thought I saw you on the big screen on July 15 as well, but maybe I am just mixing you up with someone else. Since I don't know you personally I just thought it was you based on the Gluten Tag photo, but maybe I got it wrong or you have a lookalike :D

Just noting: I Ran Away is an AROBTTH B-side, not from X&Y. I love X&Y. I agree that the album flow is not as good as the on AROBTTH, but I love its individual songs more than the ones on AROBTTH. It is both comforting/soothing and rousing/anthemic, and deals with both wonder at the world and insecurity over one's own place in it. I love the songs on X&Y and its B-sides.

Just an update about the camera thing, I was really annoyed and upset yesterday, but today (July 16th) I managed to secretly sneak my camera in :D and it was a wonderful experience. I have gotten over the bad experience from yesterday :)

Quick review: Great experience. The queueing was quite nice and when the time came to enter the stadium everyone respected the original numbering and it was very relaxed. We ended up getting front row barrier on Guy's side near the corner to the catwalk - best standing place I ever had, it was a dream come true and the wait was totally worth it ! An amazing concert, if not with a great setlist (but at least Trouble was played, my favorite song from Parachutes). Got a printed setlist in the end and of course tons of confetti ! Other than that, Chris stopped and restarted ASFOS because he saw someone apparently feeling unwell. And Tove Lo had a, well, let's say highly questionable 'surprise' for the audience :joy: This was my last AHFOD Tour concert. Filmed the entire thing, will put it online at some point but it will take a while. :)

Yeah, I retrieved it after the show. I wonder if they're gonna take it from me again today though :-/ What is really annoying is that even though the Stade de France is non-smoking, they allow everyone to take their cigarettes in and plenty of people smoked during the show, security didn't give a damn...

I can feel your pain. I think when we interact with others, especially without seeing them face to face, our own interpretations take up a lot of weight in how we understand and perceive each other's reactions, and these interpretations in turn are heavily coloured by our own experiences in the past or personality structure, so they are very subjective, which leaves a lot of room for misunderstandings or loss of content. That's why even if it's difficult, you always have to communicate openly and also state your feelings openly. Let's talk, let's talk... (Don't know if this is making sense, it's 4 am here, I couldn't fall asleep and I need to get uo at 6.30 to arrive at the queue early...grrr)

Yeah, it wasn't the venue or local security actually, cause Stade de France even told me upon my email question that it is allowed. It was coming from Coldplay HQ or Warner Music, whoever is behind the Live video filming. It did spoil my mood a lot. But other than that it also wasn't a great concert, the minimum standard setlist was played, not even an extra song like POC on the B-stage... :-/

So they just confiscated my (small) camera when I entered the stadium even though I had asked them beforehand and they said it would be okay. Apparently a request of the organisers/the band (??) because they are filming their Live DVD. Well, f*** the people who decided this, whoever it was. Worried the Live 2017 DVD might sell a few less copies if there are HQ photos from the gig ? Thank you very much. I won't be wearing my Xyloband today. Oh, and update: I'm not looking for a ticket to theJuly 18 show anymore ! Certainly not going to this stupid circus again, if that is how they treat their fans.
