  1. I loved it, really did brighten up my day! I thought it was a song reference :p silly me. Loved the hand made stars, a real personal touch! The chocolate coins were delicious :) The candy canes broke in transit but are still edible, feasting on them now :)
  2. Hi guys, I came home today to receive my package in the post and it's made my day! Photo's to come. No username though so I don't know who I have the honour of thanking!
  3. All of Parachutes.
  4. For proof of this look at the difference between a thread on r/Coldplay and Coldplaying.com :D
  5. I had a "Coldplay" sticker lying around a few years ago so I stuck it to a local landmark and it's still there all these years later (albeit faded from the rain)
  6. Really? I had no problem finding the vinyl in my local record shop and that's pretty small (Of course Adele had a more prominent position) With that said though, Coldplay's sales have been consistently diving since Viva (Wonder why?)
  7. That's not what I meant at all. I'm saying it's quite ironic for them to say that there's nowhere artistically to go in rock while their artistry is in steep decline and current day pop music is banal, unoriginal and generic.
  8. I have no problem with them doing something other than rock. I'd love to see them do an ambient album (a-la Midnight) or a neo-classical album (a-la Viva) I just want to see them keep their credibility and integrity intact. Very convenient for them to say "Rock has nowhere to go" while pumping out the most generic, banal top-40 inspired rubbish they can.
  9. Not all, but a lot. Really, what can you expect when you're doing collaborations with the likes of Rihanna, Beyonce, Tove Lo and producing songs like X Marks the Spot and Army of one? (Not to mention Chris going on trash reality television like The Voice and X Factor ) It's the tween market this album is aimed at.
  10. X Factor...... The quality of Chris's current musical influences summed up in one tweet.
  11. If only they would make music for us grown-ups again.
  12. Anyone know where I can find a longer version of this?:
  13. "They're both equally good in different ways!" lmao
  14. The sad thing is while AHFOD is definitely Coldplay's worst album no doubt it will be remembered fondly because of how massive the tour is going to be.
  15. Mindfulness seems to be something that just works. I've done some reading on the subject but the prospect of being mindful all the time seems exhausting.
  16. I was with you up until this point. Then you went full crazy. Never go full crazy.
  17. I had issues ordering the CD. My order kept failing to process and spat out invoices for €0.00. They eventually sent me an email apologising but by that point I'd already turned to Amazon.
  18. ^I sooooo want Coldplay to release an experimental ambient/shoegazing album
  19. *When Coldplay were deserving of respect* Where is Phil Harvey and his influence these days?
  20. Oh really? It must have been another interview. He talks about Chris writing "anthems" like he did a lot. It's great to see Coldplay getting their due's from Mr.Rock and Roll himself.
  21. It's a long read: http://noel-gallagher.esquire.co.uk/
  22. Yeah, but Noel Gallagher is nearly 50 and his old 'rock n roll' band haven't been popular since the 90's. He also said in a recent interview that he saw Coldplay as the last real rock band (In the sense of selling millions of records and becoming a cultural phenomena worldwide). So the death of Coldplay by pop really in a way, is the end of rock. Very sad interview.
